Travel Cds

Hmm...I am trying my hands on using the iphoto in my Mac to make slideshow for my parents. They just came back from Eastern Europe. Whenever they go travelling, I am the one that compilled the vcd or dvd for them. It's really nice, they loved it, they can just put on the CD and enjoy the scenery again. :)

Down with Fever

Gosh!!! I am curently down with fever at the final stage of my pregnancy. It's a bit scary though. I slept from 7pm last night till 11:30am this morning after taking 2 panodol prescribed from doctor the last time. That's a pretty long sleep eh? I am feeling so much better after hub bought me some porridge. Luckily he is ever willing to help with the kid and all so that I could have a good rest. Thank God! I am still feeling a little tired and have joint pain over some parts of my body. Hope it will go away soon. Sleep is getting harder at night as the baby growing bigger. I get breathlessness sometimes and frequent toss around is unavoidable. Hub said he dream that baby will pop on 28 of June. Haha! It's a nice number. He was accurate with Ivan's date the last time. We shall see if he is accurate this time. ;)

CNY Snapshots

Well, well, well, the Chinese new year is almost over. How did you spend yours? Mine was like food, FOod, FOOD and plenty of visiting, chit-chatting, catching up with old friends. Of coz not forgetting lots of angpaos, I mean me giving out. ;) After married ar, the only angpao I got are from hubby, mom, dad, in laws and grandma. I save all of em, hehe...me very thrifty one. Oh yea, do you still remember the sleepy BB video last year? I have got one of a similar one this year. Bb was like so sleepy while waiting for his daddy to grab him a lion head from Petaling street. Since then, daddy and me was force to be the lion while the lil one bangging on his drum. Grrr....so tiring. Mommy, stop laughing...Zzzzzz...

Excuse me

While daddy and I were talking in the living room, this was what happened: Bb: Mommy, mommy D&M: We did not reply but kept chatting Bb: Excuse me mommy…(loud) D&M: Wait darling Bb: Hey… excuse me Mommy: Can you wait? Please don’t disturb when mommy is talking to daddy. Bb: No, I can’t wait. Mommy: Why can’t you wait? Bb: Because I am stubborn. Mommy: Speechless…. He must have picked up that word when we laid our remarks on him. He said excuse me very frequently. Reason being, he has loads of gas. Yea, he farts a lot. ;P

Birthday party

Over the weekend, we attended a friend’s 2yr-old son’s birthday party. It was awesome. The owner arranged loads of activities for kids to enjoy. Bb had great fun doing coloring, making paper puppets of Barney and friends, treated himself to a waterproof tattoo and baloons. I think my friend must have spent a lot of time and money preparing this party. The environment was superb; English breakfast was just so yummy. It was a restaurant located in Mount Kiara Damai called Bijou . I enjoyed myself yakking with long lost college friend found in the party. My friend is thoughtful; she takes all the trouble to prepare different gifts for kids who attended the party. There was like three boxes of Japanese biscuits, a cotton finger puppet, Play-doh, a box of color pencil and some other stuff which I’ve forgotten. Hmm…don’t we just envy the life of a rich tai tai cum SAHM ? Left: Bijou Restaurant

Sickly weekend

Chinese always believe that before the Chinese New Year, you will either get very lucky or the reverse. I have no idea why, probably all those invisible ones come and collect debt *evil smile*. Last year around this time, my car tyre punctured for the first time of my 15 years of driving. It was bad! What made it worst was daddy unable to deliver help and I have to solve this all by myself. It was horrendous! As you can tell, I started driving once I got my license. Back then, we did not have any course to teach us how to fix a puncture tyre. Gosh! *Think, think, think* There is a Shell station nearby, so I asked the car washing boss if he could help. I had a little luck left; he dragged his assistance and his tools along to help me fix it. I was so grateful, I offer him money but he refused. I thanked him and feeling a bit uneasy, I made them konnyaku jelly the next day. As for now, bb and I have caught flu & sore throat for about a week already. For me, I had a few sleepless nigh...

Update

Gosh! He is still crying after 2 weeks. I spoke to my sister a couple of days ago telling her my concern over bb’s behaviour. When ask by daddy or mil whether he cries in school; bb’s answer is always “NO! I never cry”, uttered with confidence. In fact, he cries furiously when I drop him to school daily. His excuses before leaving with the teacher are either, “I want to go back or I want mommy or I want my kakak…”. Sis told me to boil an egg and keep it in his school bag; he will be okay in 2 weeks. Err…I have no idea why, it was a myth she heard from elder woman to soothes kids from crying to school. Has anyone heard of this tale before? Does it work was my immediate question to her. Well obviously, she said it worked for her 3rd child. I am very doubtful la but still I asked Sri to boiled one this morning for bb to bring to school. I am keeping my fingers cross. *counting- 1,2 3, 4, 5….eggs need to be boiled b4 he stops crying, wah, who is gonna eat those eggs???* Of late, I have bee...

Whom do you think I look like?

A couple of weeks ago, daddy and I were sort of discussing whom does bb look like. “Of coz me la” He claimed. Hehe… not only me but also most of my friends think bb looks very much like me. Daddy used to be upset when people said “lucky your son looks like mother”. He damn not syiok whenever people say that. He would complaint to me why those people talk lidat one. Hehehe…so today I am inviting you as the judge. Left: Mommy said she was very fond of the scissors, look at her hair, hehe...she snipped her own hair when she was that young. Right: Daddy was a goody-good student, look at how handsome he was with that tie :) That's me. I think I look very much like mom, so what say you? Who does BB look like? Disaster

While I was looking for my beading needle to fix daddy’s broken bracelet, bb went over to my dressing table. I looked at him in the mirror, wrapped him with my pearl lariat. Haha! He immediately removed it from his neck and told me “no, mommy”. I said “why?” “It’s nice what?”. He said “For girl girl not for bb one”. Haha! Luckily, he knows how to say NO, I was so afraid he like it and request more to put on his neck. Phew! Then, he wanted to play with my eye shadow. I let him play with the brush but he wanted to paint my table with my eye shadow. I made him repeat after me this tongue twister “She sells sea shells on the sea shore”. He recited 3 times and I let him play. This is what happened after some very quiet moment. What a disaster! Luckily, I am not a make- up person; I happened to leave these on my table after a wedding dinner on Saturday. Aiyoo…Got to get a new highlight eye shadow again.

Joining the Piggy-pig club

Hui sia is right, I am joining the piggy-pig club. Wow! Hui sia, you are very right, can pass to be a human pregnancy detector. Haha!. She told me the other day that she could sense me joining the club soon. Yes, I am. I tested the pregnancy test kits 2 times with 2 different brands and has gone to the gynae to confirm and the most beautiful thing is I could see her heart beat. Since hubby has already informed his friends, I might as well share this good news with you guys. Well, Chinese is a bit “pantang” to inform people before 3 or 4 months. I just hope that everything goes well and baby is healthy. I have been feeling very sick and nausea-tic lately. I definitely need luck.

Swim and a forgotten anniversary

It was a beautiful and cooling Saturday. We went for a swim with bb in the evening around 4:30pm. It was fun playing in the pool and I had a good swim of 30 laps too with daddy taking care of bb. As usual, daddy will bath bb and I can take my own suit time to bath and dress myself up after the satisfying swim. Then we had some donuts before heading for furniture sourcing for our guest room. We are expecting some guest in January next year. Later daddy drove us to ss2 to have dinner. Before stopping the car, I realized that it was our 5th anniversary. Haha, we both had forgotten it. We just laughed it off, wished each other, and headed for our dinner. Bb was well behaved without Sri, he enjoyed the ramen that we ordered very much. It was sort of I-dragon kind of restaurant except less pricey. I love the ramen, very nicely done. After dinner, daddy bought some dry meat from “Wo lai yea” and we headed home. I didn’t feel very well so bb and I hit the sack very early that night. From left...

Bb’s Birthday

A long anticipated day for bb. We attended his new level 7 play class in Gymboree on Saturday. Ya…he just turned 3. It was a completely different experience for him as they encourage self-expression in the class. Haha..when asked to stand up and sing a song, he pulled a parachute to cover his own head like an Ostrich. I didn’t force him, just couldn’t believe my eyes that he could be this shy. The teacher later isolated him and other kids from their mother in a private room to read story. He didn’t disappoint me, he stayed until the end. When I peeked from outside, I saw him moving away from the crowd. Later, he helped decorate the house with balloons; the naughty hand burst a few of them while helping. We had a very simple celebration within the family. On this day, he gets what he asks for. He behaved extremely well. We had some simple lunch followed by cake cutting session and present presenting. Bb was very delighted as he got his dream bicycle, he cannot part with it since. As usu...

Why do you need so much?

This conversation happened during our car journey to see bb at mil’s place. Mommy: Do you think I should stay home and be a SAHM if we have a second kid? Daddy: No, I never thought of that. Mommy: Do you think ma (mil) can cope? Don’t you think she needs some time off and relax? (trying to con him into accepting my idea) Daddy: Silent Mommy: I am very low maintenance one. You only need to give me $xxxx per month, then I can survive one. Daddy: What? Why you need so much every month? Last time pa (pil) only gave ma $xxxx much. Mommy: Wah, tai lou, last time and now where got same? Daddy: What do u need to spend on, everything regarding house whole is paid off what? Mommy: (Whao! Started calculating everything and I can smell the anger) Well, let’s don’t discuss about this, it’s too early to have this conversation. *sigh in my heart* End…. men and their money… sigh!

Where is the red one?

Bb sat close, enjoying the show on TV with me. Bb: Mommy, where is the red one? Mommy: There, he flies up high to save people Bb: Mommy, where is the red one? Where is the red one? Where is the red one? Mommy: there…noh…noh Spiderman… Bb: Mommy, where is the Spiderman. Where? Where? Where? Where? Where? getting a bit annoyed. Why do they repeat so often? (thinking aloud) Mommy: The Spiderman is flying, noh... noh... there. Bb: Where...where...where...where...where? Mommy: (Buah Tahan) Bb, u go sit there, over there, mommy tummy ache Bb: Mommy, I want to sit here with mommy and hug hug. Mommy: okok Bb: Mommy, where is the red one? Mommy: Speechless. Last night... Upon reaching home, "mommy, I want to watch Spiderman. I want; I want...eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee..."wailed non-stop. It took me a while to console him.

Deepa-Raya holiday outings

I had been cracking where to bring bb to during the Raya Holidays. Daddy’s car has some problem and we can’t really travel far. Since It was a bright and breezy day, we finally decided to bring bb for a real train ride. He loves “Thomas and friends tu tu train” so much, we gladly drove all the way to Kelana Jaya to catch the LRT just to let the little one experience it. As expected, he was delighted riding it, pointing his fingers to scenes outside the LRT. We paid two-way tickets of RM2.30 from Kelana Jaya to Universiti station. Later, we stopped by at a food court to have our lunch. I didn’t eat because there isn’t any vegetarian food available ( I am on vegetarian for 10 days). Bb asked for a glass of watermelon juice. He makes so much fuss and wanted a new juice without ice, well it’s all my fault la, I trained him not to drink cold drink, so had to deal with his fussiness. I ordered a new glass for him, this time without ice. He happily sip sip sip until can’t take no more, it was...

Papa, I want a new bicycle.

While examining his bicycle, bb called his father who had just reached home not long ago. BB: papa come, can you buy bb a new bicycle? This one is too short, this one too small (pointed at the paddle), bb cannot ride. Papa: Okay. Mommy who came to know it later still cannot believe what he has said. Anyway, hubby wanted to buy him one on his birthday, he just has to wait a little longer. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ BB was playing with his lil’ birdie until it became hard while resting on a bean bag seat. Mil called and told him “Bb, you cannot play with your birdie, later when you pee pee, very painful one and ants will come and bite bite. BB responded: “BB not playing, I am only touching it.” Mommy: Kekekeke..... pic shown above is his old bicycle. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update 2:09pm Bb called during lu...

Karaokie BB

After Dinner the other day, Mil allowed bb to show off his skills of singing using her mic. Bb loved it, he started calling everyone's name using the mic and later entertained us by singing some songs. I was amazed with his ability to sing. Feel so proud that night...hihi! Last night, he taught us how to sing "Where is Thumb-kin". Lil pro said: put ur hand (left) straight like that (demonstrated), and put this hand(right hand) at the back. Then he start singing, where is thumb-kin, where is thumb-kin, here I am, here I am, how are you today sir, very well thank you, run away, run away... (Whao...full of gestures, mommy think you got potential, can be the young kwang liang, haha!)
