Daddy's creative pack

When we reached home from dinner last night, bb and I raised our eyebrows and looked at each other curiously. What is that? *No sight of daddy, it was his soccer day out last night* There is a creative pack and flowers on top of a moon lamp. (Auntie Cheryl, thanks for the lamp, I finally use it after my old lamp spoilt) It was a belated V-day present from hubby. Ha-ha! I did not exp ect him to get me anything. I gave him a doggie coin bank to keep his daily coins as a V-day gift. He needs one. Nevertheless, I was delighted that he returned me with a nice thought gift too. Now I know why he asked me over the phone earlier in the day that whether I use facial tissue and who bought the Royal blue toilet paper. He-he, cheeky hubby, hey the wrapper looks familiar? It is my wrapper, isn’t it? left: my doggie coin bank for him/ right: His doggie toilet roll holder for me to wipe my face daily. :) Btw, the flower is supposed to be for prayers today. He is funny. Weekend Vitality

SATURDAY It was a fun day for bb as it's been a while since we brought him to Kidzsport and gym. He was like wild goose running loose in the fun land. He shooed other kids away who was blocking his way at the big steep slide. He Jumped up and down in the pool of color balls; and he threw balls out of them too. Luckily they were no sign of “NO BALLS TROWING”. 1. bb took his first slide with papa. 2.Eating ice cream with abang behind him... He met his friend “Abang”, our neighbor's youngest son, a fat and cute lil 5 yr old whom the mother sent to drama class to loose weight in Kidzport. Bb was so energetic that I couldn't cope as I was feeling very chilly and flu-e plus the peeling on my face.(Trying on new product recommended by Zara's mama ) My face was all reddish like tomato. We forced him out of the evil land after 3 hours and went for a quick grocery shopping. He was so hungry so I settled him with some nuggets and a Sundae cone from McD. He also gulped down one who

Doggie Post Card

A Post Card for Creative Post Card club, Round 32. It's supposed to due on January before Chinese New Year. My lazy butt just picked up its mood and start creating it last weekend. Its paper cut out of Mommy dog and baby dog cheering for the arrival of the Dog Year. Wow! Wow! Wow!

Sleepy toodler

In my previous post, bb slept snoring away. Check this video out, this one he slept hovering around the car seat. It was one of those hectic CNY visit to friends house. He was extremly tired.

Big Tummy?

As I was changing and getting ready to send bb to the maid this morning, he laughed pointing to my stomach. “Haaa, mommy, big big tummy” “What? Me? Big tummy?” Ugh….find me a wall, I want to bang my head. My 2 yr old boy was saying I have big tummy. *Sour face*

FGS Dong Zen

We finally took a drive down to FGS Dong Zen(佛光山东禅寺) last weekend. It’s situated in Jenjarom, Banting, Klang. We departed PJ around 5pm; it took us an hour before we reached there. There were overflowing of cars and chock-full of people. Never expected so many people in a temple, it’s more like a tourist attraction. There was puddle of rainwater here and there after a short drizzle which make it inconvenient to walk. We have to find a dry spot or stone to land our feet by not dirtying our shoe. It’s a humongous temple. We were greeted by a gigantic Laughing Buddha at the entrance. Paper lanterns that had been filled with well wishes were hung all over the place. Pretty decorated flowers and green garden is everywhere. Apparently it’s the last day of showcasing the CNY festivity, flower cars, dragon, lion dance, wealth God can still be seen here even the CNY is over. Bb was very animated seeing the dragon and lion dance again. He swayed his body to the drum beat. There were so many peop

My hair, My mood

Like my new hair style? I think bb looks better and alert with shorter hair. Now when we go out, I would gel or clay his hair spiky. Wonder would his hair get harsh when he grows up or not because hub’s hair is very coarse. Every time he goes to his hair dresser, the lady has to sharpen her scissors after cutting his hair. My Astro Boy He likes this space ship thingy. Hubby and I had to blow air to make fan sound out of the space ship and place it on top of Astro boy’s fist. Bb loves to see it spin. Whoa! Spin, Spin, Spin! Destructive Mood Bb had been very destructive lately too. He destructed his train to a big “Crash’. Crash all of them again to the floor. Oh! Poor Thomas and Friends, luckily you are made of plastic… He called them “Thomas or big big eyes”.

The “Oldie” Tag

Since this is easier to do, I will work on this tag first. I was tagged by Twinsmom . Here you go; I cracked my head for this oldie. 1. Name one of the actors of the old days that you missed the most Donnie Yen Chi Tan - super cool in martial art, handsome too. 2. Name a cartoon of the old days He-men? 3. Name a singer/group of the old days Carpenters- my aunt and uncles love to sing with their guitar while me blurry listening to them, don't even have a clue then. 4. Band of the old days Can I consider my secondary school Brass band? We worked so hard for our competition, we lost because cheering were too loud that the judge could not hear our music. Darn! We weep in public! 5.TV Series of the old days 网中人。 6. Actor/Actress of Old Days Chow Yun Fat 7. Fashion of Old Days that you miss the most Ali Baba pants that you wear to roller skating. 8. Playing rough (Battle between mommy & bb)

Bb and I were playing rough last night after dinner. He got so mischievous and grasped my hair real hard. Ouch! He had a string of my hair on his tinny fist. I was angry(pretended),“B, stop snatching mommy’s hair” I blasted. As usual, he ignored and continued the pulling. Guess what I did? I grasped a handful of his hair behind him and pulled as hard as I could. “Painful?” I asked him. He gave me a shy grin. He refused to give up; I again grasped his hair full of wicked expression; of coz with hard core pulling but without his hair landing on my big fist. Finally he gave up, guess he must have felt the pain. Hooray! I won!

Our Valentine's dinner

We left home at 7:30pm for dinner at Bangsar. We only reached the restaurant at 8:30pm. It was so jammed last night; I bet it’s because everyone was rushing to town to meet their sweet Valentine. Upon reaching the restaurant we were greeted by beautiful decorated rose petals and candle lights. Its Cava restaurant and bar, serve Spanish cuisine, special wines and cocktails. Only 3 tables were occupied at that time. We then ordered entrée of half a dozen escargots with butter and herbs; I went for baked cod fish, and hubby a lamb shank. Coupled with beer, I know, how inappropriate to have beer in that environment. Anyway, the food came in a short while when we chit chatted away happily. Other Valentines slowly arrived and filled up the entire restaurant. The placements of tables were a little too close to each other therefore I was a bit coy to snap photos of my food. We waited for a least half and hour before our main course was served. I was running out of patience, hubby jokingly sai

Happy Valentine's Day

It has been very different on Valentine’s Day for all parents with kids I think. At least it’s to me. No more fragrant roses and expensive gift. But sweet smell of kidos with lots of love. I am looking forward to a simple Valentine dinner with hubby tonight. Happy Valentine’s Day! With lots of hugs and kisses! I made that 3D string of heart shapes for hubby.

Ball it!

The other night while I was reading newspaper, bb tried imitating me. He took the newspaper on the dinning table and started pretending to read and describe ‘em. Then he saw this pic of a soccer player… “Ball it” “huh?” Bb what are you saying? He pointed at the picture and said “ball it”. Then the maid told me he meant “eat ball”, he was trying to say the soccer player eating the ball. Haha, bb the soccer player is “kissing the ball” not “eating the ball”. Okay? *bb laugh*

Ooops! Falling in love with the same sex!

I have recently watched a movie called “Brokeback Mountain” by Ang Lee. I watched alone at night while bb was asleep and hubby went out playing cards with his pal. It was a slow movie. I turned on the subtitle in English so that I could get the message clearly as I don’t quite get those words if they speak with slang or too fast. It’s a tale of two cowboys who fell in love with each other back in 1963 when the term “gay” was never heard before. There are lots of sexual scenes, kissing and hugging between the two men. Not sure how other men would take it but my hubby fast forwarded those scenes. He said “Yuck” while watching alone on a separate occasion. I enjoyed every scene and was deeply saddened by their sorrow and emotional suffering. I asked myself what I would do if it happens to me. How you would take it or react if one day you secretly found out that your beloved son or daughter’s lover happen to be the same sex? Is it gonna be yes, no or? "If you can't fix it you'

Fun at Gymboree

Bb was so excited and overjoyed when I brought him to attend Birthday party's of Kai Xiang in Gymboree . For the first time he met Gymbo the clown, he was so amazed that the clown came alive, refuse to approach the big size clown in the beginning. But later got use to the friendly Gymbo and sat beside her for some song singing and gesturing. He ran non stop later while all adults were having refreshment. He loved those balloons so much; he would get hold of two on each hand and released them within 30 sec to the ceiling. He would ask anyone around him to get him the balloon again. These went on for more than 20 times, can you believe it? I then tied 2 balloons around his waist and wherever he goes the balloon followed. He loved it, and I was free to feast upon those delicious snacks. Phew! Birthday boy… Bb singing with Gymbo the clown

Gong Xi Fa Cai!

Gong Xi Fa Cai! I have been lazy for posting. The long holidays officially end today for me. I am back to work sitting in front of a pc telling you my story. Chinese New Year's Eve... Each time he received ang pow, he will say "thank you" and immediately passed it over to me. Ang pows from auntie pat in Melbourne, grandpa and grandma, daddy and mommy. Candy from grandpa's friend. Second day of Chinese New Year at Sister's house in Klang... Bb and cousin both looked so shy. This little boy is my nephew. Bb
