Can I have a Hug please?

God Made Heaven, bigphoto Mi: “Darling, I am feeling very empty…” hugging hubby while he was watching his all time favorite sitcom FRIENDS. Hubby: “Is it because BB is not around?” Mi: “No, I just feel empty and useless…I have lost my zest to work in a high profile job…” Hubby kept quiet, he patted me and gently glides his fingers down my hair. Mi: “Can I have a hug hug standing up please?” We hugged tight and kissed each other good night. A simple physical console is more then enough for women; men don’t have to fix things all the time. Being a good listener is God made Heaven.

Trashy Art

About a month ago, Malaysia was hit by a disastrous haze caused by open burning from Indonesia. It was so bad that some states of Malaysia were declared emergency. Air Pollutant Index (API) readings had breached the 500 mark. Schools, all government and private offices, other work places including factories, plantations, and construction were ordered to close. I have collected some haze related newspaper cuttings and had used them to create my piece of trashy art.

Anticipation

It’s been a very busy day. My eyes are sore looking at the monitor. It’s raining heavily outside, the food court is jam pack with people. I am looking forward to sending BB to my mum’s place as my in-laws are departing for China first thing tomorrow morning. It’s been a while since I last visited the cinema (was thinking to catch Nicole’s Bewitched- still showing?), get a massage, get my spoilt central lock fix, paint my nails, have a facial, swimming, shopping, bake a cake, make a candle, meet up with my best friends and etc. Well, you would probably be thinking I could have get all these done with BB around too but it’s kind of different. Not to say I don’t enjoy having BB around. It’s nice to have a break once in a while. I will have to plan my time well to get some of those things done and also visiting BB as well coz mum’s place is about 45 minutes away from where I stay. It would be troublesome to fetch BB back everyday after work. I miss mum’s cooking and sister’s company too. I

Baby's Diaper

Why didn’t BB let me change his diaper? Whenever my maid or I tried to change his diaper, he will scream and throw tantrum to protest as if the diaper is something so precious that no one is allow to snatch it away from him. I am having headache here, the diaper is so full and smelly already and yet he still wanted to keep it close to his “ku ku bird”, sigh…. The only way I can get him out of his diaper is to invite him for a “pom pom” (a little bath). He will smile very happily and follow me upstairs to his tub. As usual he will ask for his bathing duck, crab and octopus. BB will splash water, pour water to his own body and also towards his little brother to awaken him. Gosh!!!... “ BB, come mummy will scratch scratch your head, scratchy scratchy…clean clean…” to divert his attention. Now it’s time to “upie up BB, come on…” BB will scream and hold on tightly to his tub and refuse to come up. Well, while he holds tightly to his tub I will tilt the tub with him inside & pour the wat

Spirit of Humanity

I have created this postcard after the Tzunamai Disaster for creative postcard club US. All rights reserved, ally's hang out. To be frank, I was stuck and had no idea which theme or concept to use for this postcard design. The year of 2004 was a turbulent year. There were many disasters happening in Asia and other parts of the world. Our so called neighbors lost their loved ones, their homes, they have no clean clothes to wear, no food to eat, and their hearts are deeply broken. How do you feel while sitting on the couch watching TV, playing soccer in the field, drinking clean water or showering with essential oil cleanser on your skin? What have you done to console? During this period of time I came across this organization called Tzu Chi by Dharma master Cheng Yen, I was inspired by what they have done to help the victims, truly amazing! Master Cheng Yen: “A stream of purity which started out as but a drop was able to grow & sip into every corner of the world purifying human
