Say Cheese!

As a woman, I am very much fearful of breast cancer. I have a neighbor who died of 3rd stage breast cancer and left alone 2 very young kids with their playboy father.

Not all breast cancer patients have that sort of sad ending though. An auntie of my husband was diagnosed with 3rd stage breast cancer as well but she, an amazing lady managed to recover from the invasive tumor. You would probably wonder how she did that. She was then wheelchair bound and could hardly lift her arms up.

The key factor here is “Positive” thoughts. She was forever full of jokes and laughter even though thing goes terribly wrong. She is full of life than those healthy ones even thought she went through countless sufferings. If you want to read more about how to be as positive as her, see here – a Medical procedures information , health site with great tips to share.

A smile a day in the mirror creates endless positive energy that leads to a better life. Say cheese!

A Special Day

I am very delighted today. Because I have again donated blood for the 3rd time in my life. In addition, I am even happier as it’s my birthday today. Hehe…I just thought it’s so meaningful to do such thing in my special day. I just went out for lunch with some colleagues and received well wishes from ex-colleagues. Daddy, thanks for the lovely gift too. That's 350ml of my red blood. My hubby don't even dare to try. Hehe! Conclution: Women are more brave than men. Agree?

Our Valentine's dinner

We left home at 7:30pm for dinner at Bangsar. We only reached the restaurant at 8:30pm. It was so jammed last night; I bet it’s because everyone was rushing to town to meet their sweet Valentine. Upon reaching the restaurant we were greeted by beautiful decorated rose petals and candle lights. Its Cava restaurant and bar, serve Spanish cuisine, special wines and cocktails. Only 3 tables were occupied at that time. We then ordered entrĂ©e of half a dozen escargots with butter and herbs; I went for baked cod fish, and hubby a lamb shank. Coupled with beer, I know, how inappropriate to have beer in that environment. Anyway, the food came in a short while when we chit chatted away happily. Other Valentines slowly arrived and filled up the entire restaurant. The placements of tables were a little too close to each other therefore I was a bit coy to snap photos of my food. We waited for a least half and hour before our main course was served. I was running out of patience, hubby jokingly sai...
