Amethyst Necklace

This is one of my latest creation. I love it so much. It' s using combination of Amethyst, Lavendar Chalcedony, clear crystal and purplish fresh water pearls.

As all of us know that stones like this one has meaning. It's worn as a protection stone. Ancient Egyptians used the amethyst guard against guilty and fearful feelings. It has been worn as protection from self-deception, as well as a protection against witchcraft. The amethyst has long been used to open the spiritual and psychic centers, making it one of the power stones. It is also used as a meditation aid when worn as a necklace.

What is the stingiest animal on earth?

The other day, hubby came home and asked me the following: Hubs: Do you know what animal on earth is the stingiest (Stingy- kiam siap in Hokkien) creature? Me: Err…dun know la…what? Hubs: Dun know meh, think la… Me: Err…still dun know Hubs: It’s horse lor Me: Why eh? Hubs: Because when they run, it sounds like (Kedekut, kedekut, kedekut- Malay) Me: Hahaha! Lidat also can.

A Special Day

I am very delighted today. Because I have again donated blood for the 3rd time in my life. In addition, I am even happier as it’s my birthday today. Hehe…I just thought it’s so meaningful to do such thing in my special day. I just went out for lunch with some colleagues and received well wishes from ex-colleagues. Daddy, thanks for the lovely gift too. That's 350ml of my red blood. My hubby don't even dare to try. Hehe! Conclution: Women are more brave than men. Agree?

Our Valentine's dinner

We left home at 7:30pm for dinner at Bangsar. We only reached the restaurant at 8:30pm. It was so jammed last night; I bet it’s because everyone was rushing to town to meet their sweet Valentine. Upon reaching the restaurant we were greeted by beautiful decorated rose petals and candle lights. Its Cava restaurant and bar, serve Spanish cuisine, special wines and cocktails. Only 3 tables were occupied at that time. We then ordered entrée of half a dozen escargots with butter and herbs; I went for baked cod fish, and hubby a lamb shank. Coupled with beer, I know, how inappropriate to have beer in that environment. Anyway, the food came in a short while when we chit chatted away happily. Other Valentines slowly arrived and filled up the entire restaurant. The placements of tables were a little too close to each other therefore I was a bit coy to snap photos of my food.
