Happy Valentine's Day!

How did you spend your Valentine ’s Day? Hmm…as for me it wasn’t so much of a Valentine’s day. It was more of a mad cow CNY shopping craze again. I couldn’t really feel the mood but could see many young couples carrying beautiful teddy bears with flower queuing up outside restaurants waiting for their romantic meal.

We did have a dinner but it wasn’t romantic…hehe, went for Johnny’s steamboat (potong steam) instead to avoid the crowds. After dinner, went gift shopping for daddy’s clients and lingered around Jusco until 12am. Yea, they open until midnight. Later we headed for Old Klang Rd to grabbed cartons of mandarin oranges and dry meats. Phew! *Pout lips*. That’s how I spent my Valentine’s day, CNY has overpowered the cupid this time round. But but but, I was so glad to find a pleasant surprise from my son. A card he brought home from school. Sweet!

Valentine's card from BB,

Update:

I got another surprise last night after meeitng up with 1+2mom. Went home and saw something on my bed.

OooooOOoooooo....Wow! I am on cloud 9. Thanks daddy for the lovely gift. I love it. It will come in handy when No. 2 is out, a sling bag is a good choice. Thank you darling! Thought I won't be getting anything but it's always nice to have a gesture of appreciation no matter what. :)

A Special Day

I am very delighted today. Because I have again donated blood for the 3rd time in my life. In addition, I am even happier as it’s my birthday today. Hehe…I just thought it’s so meaningful to do such thing in my special day. I just went out for lunch with some colleagues and received well wishes from ex-colleagues. Daddy, thanks for the lovely gift too. That's 350ml of my red blood. My hubby don't even dare to try. Hehe! Conclution: Women are more brave than men. Agree?

Our Valentine's dinner

We left home at 7:30pm for dinner at Bangsar. We only reached the restaurant at 8:30pm. It was so jammed last night; I bet it’s because everyone was rushing to town to meet their sweet Valentine. Upon reaching the restaurant we were greeted by beautiful decorated rose petals and candle lights. Its Cava restaurant and bar, serve Spanish cuisine, special wines and cocktails. Only 3 tables were occupied at that time. We then ordered entrée of half a dozen escargots with butter and herbs; I went for baked cod fish, and hubby a lamb shank. Coupled with beer, I know, how inappropriate to have beer in that environment. Anyway, the food came in a short while when we chit chatted away happily. Other Valentines slowly arrived and filled up the entire restaurant. The placements of tables were a little too close to each other therefore I was a bit coy to snap photos of my food. We waited for a least half and hour before our main course was served. I was running out of patience, hubby jokingly sai...
