YUCK! Oops!!!

As I was sitting in my couch drinking my Jasmine tea in the living room, bb came over, peeked at my tea and he said “YUCK”, waving his hand saying not nice. I told him, yes mommy’s tea, bb don’t like, don’t drink. He only likes Teh susu from Hainannese shop.

After taking a sip, I place my teacup on the table. Bb was wondering around saying yuck yet again. I have 5 minutes to channel hopping before daddy took over for his soccer, channel 81.

A few seconds later…

I saw my tea all over the table; he just poured them out, cup still nicely standing but my tea all gone. I scolded him and make him said sorry, he felt sorry but never cry still very confident and went to play his Thomas & Friends train.

Daddy was watching soccer already, this time I was reading a book and bb still playing his train set.

Few minutes later…

I squeaked loudly at bb, “WHAT HAVE YOU DONE? WHY DID YOU DO IT AGAIN? DIDN'T I TELL YOU NOT TO DO IT?” This time, he poured away his daddy’s Coke on the table. *slap forehead*

I “BUA-Ta-Han” liao, smacked his backside hard until he burst into tears. I made him say sorry again, he refused, I smacked again until he said sorry and not to do it again. While crying aloud, the monkey peeped at our reaction and kept wailing at the same time.

I just let him be and ask him to stop. I think he knows he was wrong; he is trying to see how far he can go.

It was quite fun, when he cry lately, I would say “ZIP” with my thumb and index finger moving across my lips. He would stop, if not, I will say, STOP NOW, big boy don’t cry, mommy sayang. I like to watch this, he would instantly gasp as if swallowing his breath from a drastic cry and suddenly he is quiet with tears still flowing down his cheek. Haha! I enjoyed seeing this. Only mommy can make him do that, not daddy, not anyone else. Woo Hoo…, I feel like I am a powerful mother. Hah!

BB, mommy hope you’ve learnt and not to act that naughty again.

Dinner. Stranger.

LAST NIGHT was MIL’s birthday. We went for a simple dinner at Mt. Kiara, a Taiwanese restaurant. Bb was excited to be out as usual, trying to show off how to operate his Bob the Builder’s bottle to uncle Jo, Bil. He has been sipping water from that bottle ever since daddy purchased it, which is good, no more bottles in public.

He also created rapport with waiter and waitresses there. There was a fat uncle got so fond of him and present-ed him a chopstick holder. (Like that also can. Hah!) Bb showed it to me, it was in the shape of a Japanese koi fish. I told him to return it to uncle, Sri told me he returned but uncle insisted he kept it. UR! Okay! “Well, then you can keep it” I told him.

Later, he came to me telling he was scared. I asked him why, he told me the BIG BIG uncle scary. Actually according to Sri, that uncle wanted to carry him, he got scared. Mil told me this - Once a stranger offer to carry bb, he wanted to go with stranger, mil threatened him that if he goes, he will never see anyone of us anymore. That is why he got scared; he related the same experience that happened to him. I think, in a way it is good, he can be friendly to people but not accepting their hand to carry. Better, I can’t afford to loose my son.

He behaved well last night, sat down on his high chair to eat dinner. After a while, monkey decided to roam around the restaurant while the rest of us feast upon the yummylicious food. We had Taiwanese Chicken with mint leaves, lala with wine, Cod fish with some sauce, tofu, pork ball, Stir fry bitter gourd with lamb, asparagus with minced meat, lotus soup and some nice fragrant tea. (dunno the name) I eat only..keke.

After dinner, bb waved and kiss goodbye to everybody before heading home. I felt bloated, I overate again. Darn!

see..the koi fish chopstick holder on the floor...

Whose is bigger?

On Friday night,

BB: “mommy, Pee pee…..”

Mommy: Brought him to the toilet. After his pee, I wanted to grab a tissue to wipe him. Saw hand towel instead of toilet roll. I uttered to myself “So big”.

BB: “Bb Cu Cu bird so BIG”

Mommy: “Mommy meant tissue la, not your ku ku bird” *rolled eye*

We didn’t go out till in the evening on Saturday. Bb was delighted to be out of the house. He preferred to walk at all time. Phew! I was so relief, no need to carry an 11kg all around in the shopping mall.

We decided to have Johnny’s steamboat in one U. As usual, he did not eat much the entire day. I cooked some Barley water for bb since he was having some runny nose. He finished the whole mug of them plus one whole bowl of egg. maze and bee hun during the dinner. After some food, he roamed around the restaurant with Sri while hubby and I enjoyed our peaceful dinner together. Hubby will only eat many greens when we have steamboat, other times he is very much a meat eater. Can you imagine a used to be vegetarian cooking meat? Yes, I used to be a strict vegetarian for two whole years before I gave up. I cook more nowadays at home after picking bb up from mil’s place. I decided not to eat there so often.

Anyway back to the mall, bb was hyperactive, upon hearing the ice-crème bell, he said “mommy, see Santa Claus”. Sri and me…giggled, “No Santa la, Santa only comes out during Christmas,” I said. I was surprised he remembered seeing one during Christmas time near JJ. We went for some grocery-shopping, grab a sipper cup (Bob the builder) for bb before heading home.

Having the Santa's ice-crème...
noticed he likes to wear this T-shirt nowadays? Yes, I have no choice but allow him. It’s his favourite oversize T-Shirt.

After bathing, bb pointed to papa and smile gently “Papa, cu cu bird BIG BIG”

Mommy: “WHAT?” Whose ku ku bird BIG? BB or papa?

BB: Bb’s cu cu bird BIG BIG.

HAHAHA! Hubby also “KALAH” to Bb.

Bb concentrated at his Elmo's Key-board 0 rama.

Don't touch, let me do it

I have been slack in updating bb’s development and visiting your blog. I filled my nighttime doing beads jewelry that people order from me. Thus, less time to blog but still have sufficient time to spend with bb.

The other day, he came over and passed me a tiny little string of bullet from stapler he found in his toy bag. Luckily, he did not put it in his mouth. He wanted pretty much to do things on his own. He would open the gate with a remote control; hold on to it until the car enters the garage before closing it. “Kak don’t touch, mommy don’t touch, papa don’t touch, bb close”.

He likes to lock himself up in the room and in the car, it is quite dangerous but he obeys me if I ask him to unlock the door. Phew! I used to have cold sweat when he do that but not anymore. He also likes to help himself with Vitagen in the fridge, leaving the other half with straw in it. *shake head*

We brought him for swimming again, he enjoyed himself so much that he didn’t mind having wrinkle on his hands after playing so long. He is such a great helper especially upon hearing we wanna bring him to swim. He helped to put in his swim suit, set of cloths, daddy’s top and pants. I then chucked my bra and panties to him. “Nah, bb help mommy put in the bag”…He happily unzipped the big bag, slotting my underwear in it. Hehe…I was so bad. But certainly feels good that he is so much grown up already.

A very caring toddler as well, when I cough, I can be assured that the little one knows and he will come and pat on my chest to console me. He prefers to put on cologne and powder on his own as well. Recently, you can see my baby turning himself on and shaking his head with a pasar malam collection of FROG “Feng Tou” songs. He likes spending his time dancing with Sri or Kak Suktei in Mil house.

He can also travel in a car without diaper now. So mommy can safe more on diaper. I find him much cuter now, he can communicate and talk better, picked up words very fast. Hubby and I were thinking to send him to nursery school soon. Do you have any idea of a good one near Bandar Utama?

My first sex education

Bb likes to look at his photo book lately. “Mommy, Photo”, bb asked while pointing to one of the white drawer in the bedroom. He would flip through the entire album, pointing and naming people. After naming all people in the photograph, you would hear him say…

“Oh..mommy tummy pain pain”, bb pointing at my last week of pregnancy photograph.

Hah! His sex education starts here. I showed him the big tummy photo and tell him "BB inside mommy’s tummy. Next, mommy tummy pain pain (photo lying down in the hospital bed suffering), Oh..Bb comes out, mommy carry bb at my arms and kiss kiss bb, then mommy tummy flat flat” I acted out the scene to show him where he came from. He stared at my acting and have gentle smile as if he understood what I said.

He asks to see those photos almost everyday since last week. That’s not too bad eh? He knows I suffered delivering him and hope he will love me MORE. :)

My Wednesday

I think bb’s gums have been extremely itchy nowadays. He bites his security blanket and his little clown friend. Look at this “geli” clown. Bb called this clown “BB”. He bites and wet the clown at its nose; then chuck it away following the remarks “yuck”.

Sri has been washing it every now and then so that clown remains clean for him to bite.

He was a good boy this morning. Smile to me while weaving goodbye without crying. I enjoy moments like this, pleasantly peaceful.

I am going to send these two letters for the “Aircool” contest in My FM hoping to get some cash. Hah! Hope they do call me. “Fingers crossed”.

I have made some beaded rings and sold some to my colleagues. Yay! Such nice feeling enjoyed them. If you are interested, let me know. I will show you how to take measurement and make you one too. It’s handmade from 100% Swarovsky Crystal.

Whatz up?

Whoa, I had been mia for many days. Mil admitted to hospital last week for urination infection; couple with her diabetic, it was quite serious. Her body did not absorb water and hence, she got very severe dehydration. According to doc, she could have collapse any minute. I am glad that she went to hospital on time and now she is feeling better despite her rashes at her lower body and feeling itchy here and there occasionally.

Daddy called me home and I spend my 2 days as SAHM with bb. As you know, bb was recovering from his fever. As usual, stick to me like glue and was moody and very cranky. I felt so tired and restless as he fussed at night, cannot seem to rest well. I actually lost weight during that sleepless period. I am feeling much better toady therefore; you could hear me utter some words in my blog.

My hands were tight as I was helping an ex-colleague designing her wedding card. It’s been so long since I last do such things, something simple and elegant for her and hubby. It takes up some time, with bb around; it is harder to concentrate, as he demands my attention. I am glad that it’s done already.

Just hope that bb will go thru this clingy phase as quickly as possible. He knows he was being naughty. Sri related this to me this morning. “Bb scolded himself naughty just now” he did I asked? “Yes, he said, Bb naughty, bb cry cry”. Har… at least he knows he was being naughty for crying too much. His voice was as coarse as sand. It was cracking and it took me some time to figure out what he was trying to say. Life is back to normal again, I could hear birds chirping this morning so that makes today a good day. Hope the remaining of your days will be as good too.
