My Goal Post

No one was home when I arrived on Friday evening. Bb went out with Pil for some shopping. I strolled alone in the garden and found newly build goal post with raffia string as net in red, blue and green. Not bad eh? It was a joint effort from Sri and Suktei(mil Cambodian maid) for the little one. Thanks to the soccer craze in this recent month, bb also got himself a new target whenever he tries to kick a ball. There is no bb there to capture any professional player in action except a lonesome ball in the warm evening sun. I took some snapshots of the garden bb plays in daily and an egg carton creation(Human Head). It was an art direction from mother in law to Sri. She saw a kid cutting cartons out to form various characters in her massage parlour. For this, I must say a big thank you to her for doing such great job taking care of my kid without any reward. Without her and fil’s support, hubby and I would not be so at ease like what we are now. Why so touchy feely one??? No idea…. Saturd

Fun with Aladdin the Prince

A couple of weeks ago, we attended a kid’s costume party. Bb dressed as Aladdin boy and attracted a lot of Ooh-ed and ah-ed from onlookers during the journey there. Kids were all dressed up as princess, angel, Haiwaian girl, Spidermen, Flash, Kimono, Soldier and many more. They all looked so adorable. The party started around 4pm with dancing, fashion showing and some usual kid’s activities. It was quite crowded, lovely angels in sweet costumes were everywhere. Bb was overexcited and did not settle for an afternoon nap before the party. Therefore, he appeared to be a little tired with teeny red and teary eyes; however, he has a lot of fun at the party. Did you notice his red hat with huge aqua feather? I was so proud of him; he managed to keep it on until the end of the party before handing it over to me. It was a fun process choosing a costume for him. We dropped by at one party shop and a photography studio in Mt. Kiara before deciding on this Aladdin outfit. We were contemplating we

I am back!!! :)

It has been a while since I blog off! Just had a chat with Jazzmint today, read some articles from blogging land, and heard some plagiarism news here and there, very shocking indeed! I just hope that things will be better and those who plagiarize had learnt the lesson well. Here are some images from a recent trip to Melacca with bb and hubby to a friend’s wedding. It was a new experience for bb who turned moody during the HOT day driving back from the historical land.

Blogging Break

BB's independence emerging

I just wonder how much bb has grown. Having to spend the mere two days last weekend with him, I realized his head has grown bigger while stroking his hair. He has grown taller and much chattier and he knows what he is saying. He eats more, sleeps better and plays really well too. Sometimes I find the way he plays a little too dangerous. He would rock while crossing a long wooded log in Gymboree; jump without holding my hand from a higher place towards padded mattress, slide on his tummy instead of sitting. Hmm…I kept reminding him that he could not do all this at home. At home, he likes to jump into his walker, yea the one he used to walk while he was still a baby. He will spin and spin non-stop in it and run fast banging towards the table, shelf, and walls. He likes talking to himself too nowadays. Hubby was teasing that it’s Single Child Syndrome. I don’t think so la…it’s part and puzzle of growing up. The other day, I saw him reading my book, which I left on the study table. He pick

A betrayal grandson

Friday… Mil told hubby this and he related the story to me. Bb gave away her cards to the auntie on the Mah Jong table. He went to mil’s place and told other aunties mil’s cards. He told the aunties mil had one “飞- fei” , 2 “Bola-bola” and 1 “Cat” (Flower card). Then the auntie asked bb any more cards? BB replied “No more”. Auntie asked again how many “飞- fei” does mil has, bb replied “1 only” *Gosh!!!* Actually, I do not know how to play Mah Jong, bb must have got influence from all those “师奶”(housewife) like mil….*shake head* ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ BB was kicking ball in the garden, KICK, KICK….KICK…..opppss…ball flown to the neighbour’s garden. BB: OH MY GOD! Ball gone! (Exact words) Mil was stunt at the above phrase. He must have picked up from me. My hands are full holding all bb’s stuffs while going down the stairs. Bb called me to help holding his bottle so that he could hold the rail while descending th

A date with Zoe and daddy's friends

It was Daddy friend's birthday; we met up with some of them last night for dinner in Italianese at The Curve. There are lots of yakking between the people who are crazy about soccer, betting, “Zhi Mo” (Mah jong playing). Bb as usual was jolly well happy and dynamic in exploring the environment. He joined Zoe for some Barney show on a portable DVD. My observation, parent nowadays keeps their toddlers occupied with CD’s so that they will have a peaceful mealtime. Zoe’s mother is not the first one I met doing this. In a way it is good to avoid them leaving their chairs but I thought bb watch too much CD’s and TV already. I rather he goes around then sitting starring at the square box. Everyone said bb has grown up so much. I think so too. He is like a big kor kor who knows how to make lil girl happy by playing with them. I was so amazed seeing how bb made Zoe laughed and giggled. He is very cheeky and behaved like a DAP now, which means, he does what I told him not to - like the pemba
