Just wondering how would it be if I spray some on my body before "do do" .....hihihihi... *evil smile* Homemade Love Tonic (Cologne) by Pioneer Thinking (Increases feelings of love, Aphrodisiac) Ingredients: 3 drops sandalwood essential/fragrance oil 2 drops vanilla essential/fragrance oil 3 drops cedarwood essential/fragrance oil 15 drops bergamot essential/fragrance oil 1/2 pt (300ml) 70 percent alcohol or vodka Directions: Pour the alcohol into a bottle or jar. Add the oils and shake well. Leave for 1 week. Go easy on this stuff. You can always make more!

My best friend has been blessed with a very nice hubby. Without her realizing, the hubby has planned for an early surprised party for her in Prego, Westin Hotel, Jalan Bukit Bintang. There were altogether 14 guests; we were one of the lucky couple being invited. Birthday girl is my best friend. We grew up together in the same town. Why do women need men? To be with her when women are sad? To be listened to when women need emotional support and security? When women need affection and romance? When women want attention? To feel cherished? YES! Definitely RIGHT! ALL OF ABOVE! Unfortunately, men just don’t get it. When men need women to listen to, women will open up her ears and listen enthusiastically but when women need men to listen to, they will take out their newspaper or magazine and nicely read right in front of them and pretending they are listening. Men are rude and they think they are always right! And when women try to talk, before she could finish he has already assumed. What can women do? Trying to make conversation with men will only make you have stiff neck coz when you talk they just look to the front. It takes a lot of effort to nurture a relationship. It can be so exhausting, deadly and unhealthy; like a lump in your breast…!

I was a side drummer from primary 3 to secondary 5. I started participating in the Merdeka parade when I was in my primary 5. It was hard work and lots of drum solos, marching and practices. Occasionally, we have to sacrifice school hours and also weekends to practice, practice and practice. Why practice so hard? Coz we want to look good in front of our PM and also millions of tv audiences …he he….glamour ma! Unfortunately, the fierce sun would hit my skin and make it turn red and later brown. I used to put on lots of Nivea cream (innocent, should go with a banana boat) on my face and hand to prevent sun burn; I looked like a doll with rosy cheek for the first 3 days and then a Malay girl for the next 2 weeks or so. But it was an unusual 31 August morning. I put on my cool maroon pancaragam top, my sexy beige mini skirt and my beige boots with brown lace tying to a butterfly knot. God Made Heaven, bigphoto Mi: “Darling, I am feeling very empty…” hugging hubby while he was watching his all time favorite sitcom FRIENDS. Hubby: “Is it because BB is not around?” Mi: “No, I just feel empty and useless…I have lost my zest to work in a high profile job…” Hubby kept quiet, he patted me and gently glides his fingers down my hair. Mi: “Can I have a hug hug standing up please?” We hugged tight and kissed each other good night. A simple physical console is more then enough for women; men don’t have to fix things all the time. Being a good listener is God made Heaven.

About a month ago, Malaysia was hit by a disastrous haze caused by open burning from Indonesia. It was so bad that some states of Malaysia were declared emergency. Air Pollutant Index (API) readings had breached the 500 mark. Schools, all government and private offices, other work places including factories, plantations, and construction were ordered to close. I have collected some haze related newspaper cuttings and had used them to create my piece of trashy art.

It’s been a very busy day. My eyes are sore looking at the monitor. It’s raining heavily outside, the food court is jam pack with people. I am looking forward to sending BB to my mum’s place as my in-laws are departing for China first thing tomorrow morning. It’s been a while since I last visited the cinema (was thinking to catch Nicole’s Bewitched- still showing?), get a massage, get my spoilt central lock fix, paint my nails, have a facial, swimming, shopping, bake a cake, make a candle, meet up with my best friends and etc. Well, you would probably be thinking I could have get all these done with BB around too but it’s kind of different. Not to say I don’t enjoy having BB around. It’s nice to have a break once in a while. I will have to plan my time well to get some of those things done and also visiting BB as well coz mum’s place is about 45 minutes away from where I stay. It would be troublesome to fetch BB back everyday after work. I miss mum’s cooking and sister’s company too. I
